Irony is good but there’s technical rasoen why you can’t login vs other 80K (we are up to 80K btw) users. Some rasoens and how to work around these are outlined in apps description on market. If you still can’t login you can send email to support (or post here)

QQi is an essential travel tool for me when I am in China. It keeps me in touch with my local friends and even helps me meet Chinese people who don’t speak English and make more friends. I just bought a ‘Samsung Galaxy Note’ specifically for QQi only to discover there is no such app available? I would even be happy to $10 for an app with the same translation and functional abilities as PC based QQi.

This is something that’s always had me dumbfounded. it is only a matter of just changing the interface languages.

Mind, when asking for drivers for a computer i just bought they did point out that the drivers are chinese. I also have always found this an odd thing to come from a supposed computer tech. zero’s and one’s, zeros and one’s

To all the people above, why not install regular (Chinese) QQ instead?
You don’t need to understand Chinese to install it and can still type in English.

Yes, I would like to see an English language application for Android (and iphones also) . If it could include a translater that would be even better … I guess it’s all down to cost effectiveness and profit.. and if a free service can be used as an effective advertising tool… I see that Microsoft are closing Messenger and merging it with Skype… Maybe the United Nations should fund these things… the more personal friends we can make around the word the better will be international friendship and understanding..

I really love the use of QQi on my laptop computer. I am in a long distant relationship with a woman from Malaysia who is of Chinese descent. We belong to a Chinese chat group where I am helping group members to speak English, we use it for conversation and as a life line between my sweetie and myself when she or I have to travel regionally. Not having QQi for my Samsung Galaxy S3 is like playing golf with one leg. I implore the developers to complete the QQi application for Android ASAP.

    Thank you.

I’m using both the QQ2013 and QQ HD on my android and smartphone…it’s very strange to see it takes so many time just to make simple menu translations for both of these apps….it takes independent developers less than one week to do such a simple thing…

I think the reasons for that are mentioned above, you’re holding this to promote wechat more…I’ve tried to use wechat, and I didn’t like it completely…the interface is worse than QQ, I have to import contacts manually from QQ, I couldn’t find QQ groups…

In my opinion your management team has made some wrong decisions.

There’s no point stating the astoundingly obvious, is there? That the QQ chat for Facebook being pushed here doesn’t actually WORK here in China where Facebook is blocked?

Hoping for QQi for Android here too.

    Dear QQI,

as there is still no international version of QQ for android I would like to ask you if there is an english manual (maybe with screenshots) existing that explains the menu functions of the android app? That would be a workaround for me and probably many people out there.

P.S. Of course an english version of the app itself would be even better πŸ˜‰
