Yeah, I only just made my account and upon the 1st attempt to add a contact I got this error message? Was wondering if you have the disabled upon creation?

    Hi,
How do I add a new contact? I have their qq number but do not know how to add them to my contact list?

I think I found the solution.
    —————————————————–
    My situation:

I tried to add this one contact through the International QQ. Whenever I tried to add her to my contacts, I typed a message in English. (You know how you have the option to type a message along with your friend request?)

Well, I thought about it logically–since she’s my very first contact I tried to add, there’s no way I had over-frequent uses. Plus, I just created my QQ account…so suspicious behavior? I don’t think so.
    —————————————————–
    My solution:

I uninstalled International QQ and reinstalled the original Chinese version. (You don’t have to know Chinese. Once you download the Chinese version, just keep pressing what you think is “Next” until it’s completely installed. Just play around with it for a bit. You’ll get there. After the installation, logging in is exactly the same as the English version: username and password. You can download the Chinese QQ here: http://im.qq.com/qq/2013/)

Once you are logged on, the familiar Friends List window will pop up, except this one will be in Chinese. To find the friend you want to add:

Look at the very bottom and you will see a “magnifying glass” icon. That’s for “searching.” Click on that and the following should also be similar to how you would add a friend on the English version–a window pops up and you have three different search methods. Pick your choice.

After you found the person you want, click the “plus” sign to add. Another box pops up, and here you can type a message to your friend.
    ***Here is the important part:***
You can either not leave a message at all, or you must leave a message in Chinese (I just copied and pasted random characters.) I tried both ways, and they both worked. (At least, I think they worked, since I got proceeded to the next page and I didn’t have a red exclamation mark.) I tried sending an English message, and it rejected me once again.

Once you successfully add the person on the Chinese QQ, you should still be friends when you log on to your English QQ.

      Just a recommendation:

When you search for your friend on the Chinese QQ, I suggest you use the tab on the very left. You should type in your friend’s QQ username (the 10-digit username).

        Update:

I tried on the International QQ, and it worked too! I just left the message box blank. And then I got proceeded to the “success” page.

If this still doesn’t work for you, I recommend the previous method using the Chinese QQ.

        Best of luck.

I got the “Your ID has been locked for over-frequent operation or suspicious behavior, please try again later” error when adding a contact. It was fixed by changing my QQ account password.
